World Language - Heritage Speaker Testing (Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino)

Do you qualify as a heritage speaker?

• Do you hear and understand Spanish in or outside of your home?

• Do any family members speak to you / communicate with you in Spanish?

• Do you watch TV or movies, or listen to the radio in Spanish?

• Do you want to learn how to read and write in Spanish?

If you answered mostly “yes”, then take our placement test in the Library Media Center before Open House for Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, and Korean

*All students will begin their world language at Level I. If you would like to be assessed into a higher level, you will need to take a World Language Placement Exam.
